OUR CHARITY
The Swan at Lavenham is proud to support local children’s charity, East Anglia Children’s Hospices.
This charity cares for children and young people with life limiting conditions, which means that they are unlikely to reach adulthood. EACH provided care and support in its hospices and their families' own homes. Hospices are located at Ipswich in Suffolk, Milton in Cambridgeshire and Quidenham in Norfolk and support extends into North Essex and parts of Hertfordshire and Lincolnshire. Unfortunately only a very small percentage of EACH’s budget is provided by the Government, so it relies predominantly on the generosity of individuals, companies and charitable trusts.
We have managed to raise £1,687 so far through regular donations, prize draws, a balloon race and a 42 mile marathon rowed by our Marketing Manager from Lincoln to Boston last year. Our endeavours continue and news on our charity will be updated on a regular basis
