It offers a variety of different dining options; from the informal Garden Bar Restaurant and historic Old Bar to al fresco dining in the garden, or fine dining in the elegant AA two Rosette Gallery Restaurant, the choice is yours. The Swan's menus, inspired by Executive Chef and Master Chef of Great Britain, David Ryan, are made using fresh, locally sourced seasonal ingredients and their popularity needs no further endorsement than the impeccable and outstanding feedback received throughout the year.
The Swan also has a long-established reputation for serving traditional afternoon teas and guests from around the world have come to sample them. Freshly baked scones with jam and clotted cream, homemade cakes and finger sandwiches, presented on traditional tiered cake stands, are served in the cosy lounge or in the garden during the Summer months.
Cygnet Club
The Cygnet Club is a unique venture which provides residents of Lavenham and the surrounding areas with special discounts when they eat, drink or stay at The Swan Hotel. Membership lasts for one year and is renewable annually.
There is no charge to become a member of the Cygnet Club and you will benefit from the following:-
- 10% off all food and drink when choosing from the lounge menus or The Gallery Restaurant menu (excluding Saturday nights) for you and up to 5 guests
- 10% off accommodation (subject to availability and can not be used in conjunction with any other offer)
- 10% off drinks in the Old Bar
- 10% off room hire and conference facilities (excludes special events/themed events)
- A complimentary dinner on your birthday
- Free membership of our Wine Club with special wine offers
- Free room hire when using our private dining rooms (Min 10 covers)
- Pre-mailing on forthcoming events and special offers
To join, please send your name, address, contact details and Birthday to Nancy Innes, The Swan Hotel, High Street, Lavenham CO10 9XA. We will send you, by return, your Cygnet Club Card which you just need to sign and present whenever you visit The Swan.
