Today, Lavenham is the country’s finest example of a Medieval town. With over 300 Listed buildings and a labarynth of small narrow streets, it has changed little since the 15th century. The hotel’s location is also great for exploring the beautiful Suffolk countryside, made even more famous by the great artist John Constable who fell in love with this area and is the location for more than one of his most famous pieces, the most known being the Hay Wain.
