Lavenham is one of the most iconic towns in Suffolk and is the country’s finest example of a Medieval town. With over 300 listed buildings and a labyrinth of small narrow streets, it has changed little since the 15th century.
The hotel’s location is also great for exploring the beautiful Suffolk countryside, made even more famous by the great artist John Constable who fell in love with this area.
Lavenham is close to Bury St.Edmunds and Ipswich and is situated on the A1141, about 2 miles east of the A134, between Sudbury and Bury St. Edmunds. Half an hour from Newmarket, an hour from Stansted and forty minutes from Cambridge. The Swan is situated on the corner of the High Street and Water Street.
