| 'Wow' | “My husband and I booked to stay at the Swan for two nights, which included dinner and breakfast. As it was a special occasion the management upgraded us to a junior suite- free of charge. WOW the room was beautiful with old beams, a large queen size bed, which had a card and a box of chocolates. The evening meal was fanastic with a great choice of food. The fish and the steak was cooked to perfection and melted in the mouth. In the afternoon we had half price afternoon tea. Consisting of cakes, sandwiches and homemade scones. Just as good as the Ritz.

The history and character of the hotel is probably well known and one feels some of the history, staying there. The food was elegant and good.
